For many amateurs, what transpires on the practice range often doesn’t translate into results on the course. But when you can establish a steady routine before your round, you’ll be able to quiet your mind and react to what’s required of the shot at hand.
Work on treating each shot on the range like a shot that counts, standing behind the ball, picking a target and visualizing the optimum result. Make a few practice swings and establish a rhythm before hitting your shot. The more you repeat this process, the more relaxed you’ll feel.
