Old-school cool, or simply cruel? The Toyota 70 Series LandCruiser 70 Series is robust, capable, and it’s a whole lot of fun to drive off-road.

But is this truly purpose-built LC79 ute, which is sorely lacking in the active safety tech, any better for receiving the 70th Anniversary special edition treatment, which amounts to some nice styling tweaks and a revised interior with more upmarket trim and a better media system?
